Integrated Health Concepts is pleased to be able to offer training in Reiki levels I & II, Advanced Reiki Training (ART) & Master level. As a licenced teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training, Marita Aicher Swartz is able to offer CEU's/Contact hours for Level I & II students who are massage therapists or nurses.

CEU's (Continuing Education Units) are often required by licensed professions in order to maintain one's license. CEU's are awarded for taking classes approved by the licensing body.

We are pleased to announce that our Reiki classes have been approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) for CEU's. This means that all nurses in every state that acknowledges AHNA credits are eligible to receive CEU's for attending classes taught by any of our Center Licensed Teachers.

We received our CEU provider approval from The National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Our provider number is 051711-00 Category A. Members of NCBTMB can receive CEU's by taking our classes as indicated below.

We will continue to apply for and add CEU approval from additional providers as time goes by. Check this page periodically to be notified of additional providers or call the Center to let us know about your professional requirements for CEU's.

Reiki I and II Class Outlines

Reiki Level I

• The Reiki hand positions
• History of Reiki
• Attunement
• Giving a complete Reiki treatment for self and others
• Japanese Reiki Techniques as taught by Dr. Usui, including: Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho - developing your intuition, and Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed

This one day class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions and the self-treatment.
Cost: $175.00 with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit.

Reiki Level II

• Gyoshi ho - sending Reiki with the eyes, Koki ho - using the breath to send Reiki, Kenyoku - dry bathing or clearing ones energy field, Jacki-kiri Joka-ho, clearing objects of negative energy

• Using Reiki for specific conditions
• The Reiki II symbols and how to use them with practice time
• Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits
• Distant Healing

This one day class includes lecture, discussion and practice using all the level II symbols including distant healing, and practice using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques mentioned above.

While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. Please commit to this additional time which should be one evening a week for several weeks, or its equivalent, to practice Reiki with one or more people from your Reiki class or with members of your family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training.
Cost: $175.00 with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit.

Advanced Reiki Training (ART)

This is a one day intensive. It includes:

• The Usui Master attunement which increases the strength of your Reiki energy
• The Usui Master symbol which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols and can be used for healing
• Reiki meditation that strengthens the mind and expands consciousness
• Advanced techniques for using Reiki to solve problems and achieve goals
• The use of crystals and stones with Reiki; how to make a Reiki grid that will continue to send Reiki to yourself and others after it is charged
• Reiki psychic surgery that allows you to remove negative psychic energy from yourself and others and send it to the light
• A guided meditation that introduces you to your Reiki guides wherein you receive healing and information
• Finally, an exercise will be given for those planning to take Reiki III/Master training.
• A detailed 20-page manual is included.

NOTE: You must take ART if you want to take Reiki III/Master. This class is often taught with Reiki III as a three day intensive.
Cost: $225.00 with a $100.00 non-refundable deposit.

Reiki III/Master

This is a two day intensive. It includes:

• The complete Reiki III Usui/Tibetan Master attunement
• Instruction on giving all Reiki attunements, including Reiki Master
• The Healing attunement, which heals and strengthens the effectiveness of Reiki treatments
• The complete Usui system of attunements is taught as well as the Usui/Tibetan system used by The International Center for Reiki Training.
• Two Tibetan symbols are given, for a total of six symbols to assist you in your healing work.
• Advanced Reiki meditation that harmonizes the energy of the chakras
• The values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master

Powerful healing experiences often take place during this class. Students practice giving attunements to each other so that each student receives many attunements. The Healing attunement is given and received by all students. A 160-page class manual is included that gives detailed steps for giving all the attunements and healing techniques for both the ART and Master sections of the class.
