James H. Schrenker, M.D. James H. Schrenker, M.D.
Medical Director

Dr. Schrenker is a practicing family physician in Bristol, Tennessee. He holds a medical degree from Indiana University, Indianapolis, Indiana. He respects and uses his education and experience in conventional medicine while embracing metaphysical knowledge to provide the best possible care for his patients.

Dr. Schrenker is a Certified Medical Director (CMD), the medical director for NHC nursing homes in eastern Tennessee, and has been the principal investigator in more than twenty clinical research studies. Dr. Schrenker’s ultimate goal has been to establish Integrated Health Concepts (IHC). IHC, also known as the Bristol Clinic, opened its doors in January 2005 in Bristol, Tennessee.

In 2004 Dr. Schrenker co-authored Everyday Lessons: Understanding the Events, Interactions and Attitudes That Make Up Your Life (Integrated Concepts Publishing, LLC, October 2004). He is currently working on a book addressing the metaphysical aspects of dis-ease.

Dr. Schrenker has been a well-liked and respected physician in the Bristol area for over ten years. A dynamic, popular speaker and lecturer, he communicates with sensitivity, humor, and above all, honesty. Acupuncture

Scott is a nationally board certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, and a Rehabilitative Exercise Specialist. Scott earned his medical degree from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas, a school nationally known for its excellent curriculum and integration of Eastern and Western medicine modalities. His compassion for his patients and his knowledge of Oriental Medicine has established him as an integral part of the health care system in the Tri-cities area.

Acupuncture, cupping, traditional Chinese herbal medicine formulas, Tuina, nutrition, and rehabilitative exercise programs are among Scott's specialities. He is currently credentialed and has hospital privileges at Holston Valley Medical Center, and is a faculty member of the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Integrated Health Concepts is fortunate to be able to offer Scott’s expertise and knowledge, in all aspects of Oriental Medicine, to our clients at the Bristol Clinic.

Marita Swartz, BA, MA, RMTP Marita Swartz, BA, MA, RMTP
Reiki Master, Spiritual Director

Marita holds a BA in Elementary Education from Georgian Court College, an MA in Religion and Religious Education from Fordham University and is certified as a Spiritual Director by Jubilee House Retreat Center. For the past 35 years, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults, primarily in the Bristol area as an elementary school teacher, Minister of Religious Education, and Spiritual Director.

Since her introduction to Reiki energy in 2003, her life path now centers on sharing the gift of Reiki with others - adults and children. Her Reiki practice enables her to work with people who want to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. She is a licensed teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training and offers instruction in the three levels of Reiki, as well as treatments.

Marita’s life journey has focused on the integration of spirituality and human life. She believes that each of us has a spiritual purpose here on earth, which makes her a very special addition to the staff of the Integrated Health Concepts clinic.

As a Medical Intuitive Eleanor can help you look at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual connections in dis-ease; refine and redefine the direction of your life; and celebrate who you are. She believes that we are all intuitive and she will help you listen more closely to that part of yourself. What is your true path? What gives you the most joy in the core of your being? What gives you the most peace?

Eleanor’s training and experience in life have prepared her for this exceptional work. Her personal journey has included being a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and entrepreneur. After graduating from Stetson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, she went on to earn a Master of Arts at Memphis State, and another Master of Education at Kent State University. Her life path led her to achieve the highest ranking in the American Dance Therapy Association, which she utilized in her work at Lutheran Medical Center’s West Pines Behavioral Health Facility in Wheat Ridge, Colorado for seven years. She has continuously studied in advanced trainings, including two years at the Crossroads School of Healing Arts with a focus on energy medicine. Eleanor has spent over 20 years in private practice and consulting worldwide. Having known of her gifts of seeing and sensing beyond the obvious for most of her life, she has affirmed those gifts and embraced them for the special work of medical intuitive. Some see Eleanor’s gifts as those of the ancient shaman-healers who can guide others to access their own innate healing strengths.

Judy Addington Judy Addington, L.M.T., C.R., C.C.I.
Massage, Reflexology, Raindrop Facilitator

Judy is a licensed massage therapist in TN, certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork; certified reflexologist with the International Institute of Reflexology in St. Petersburg, FL; certified Raindrop Facilitator through the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education; and Level 2 Reiki practitioner in the Usui System of Natural Healing.

Judy has always had a deep desire to help others in matters of health and well-being and views complementary therapies as very beneficial. They address each person as a whole, considering the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects. The therapies she practices lend support to each other and to other modalities. Massage benefits the soft tissues of the body, reflexology reduces stress and tension through the reflexes encouraging homeostasis, and therapeutic-grade essential oils work at the cellular level.

Brandy Schrenker Brandy Schrenker, MS, RD, LD
Dietitian

Brandy is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. She is a full-time registered dietitian at the Diabetes Treatment Center in Bristol, TN. She works at Integrated Health as a consultant and provides nutrition counseling on a variety of health related issues. She is certified in Adult Weight Management and enjoys working with people who are motivated to lose weight. In the future, she would like to develop a weight management program that incorporates the philosophies here at Integrated Health. Other interests include organic nutrition and working with the herbalist to optimize individual health and well-being among our clients.
